First Haircut

“That is a very cute little girl you have” said the well intentioned man while we waited in line at the grocery store. “He’s a boy” I replied. “Oh, sorry. He is cute enough to be a girl.” I smiled and decided that it was time for Benjamin’s first haircut.




We took him to a local shop and asked for a lady who is accustomed to giving haircuts to kids. Kids are always moving, keeping the stylist on their toes. Benjamin was pretty calm; he patiently sat in mom's lap and watched in the mirror.













When he was finished, all that remained was a handsome little BOY and some hair on the floor.
