A glimpse of the future

This evening I was playing with Benjamin, we were making faces at each other when he suddenly stopped.

He became very serious and looked at my eyes and then pulled my glasses off. Then he started pushing on my eyelids with his little fingers, mumbling something in his own language.

Afterwards, he picked up my glasses and put them on. At first, he tried to put them on top of his head, like I do when I'm looking closely at something. When they kept falling off, he then put them on his face.

I told him that I hope he doesn't have to wear glasses, that he has his mom's eyesight.

Of course, when I pulled the camera out, Benjamin likes to play with it, so I had to be quick before he grabbed it.

I can only imagine that this will be what he will look like when he is in college working on a PhD.

Dr. Benjamin sounds pretty good, we'd get used to that title.
